Sterling Marketing was founded in 1987 as a response to the growth of niche catalogues in the USA. Sterling rightly saw that there was an opportunity for the development of similar catalogue businesses in the UK.
During the 90’s Sterling helped now iconic companies such as Boden and Charles Tyrwhitt develop their businesses and brought famous names such as Lands’ End to the UK.
Since then Sterling has worked with a wide range of companies, always at the forefront of retail developments. We have been heavily involved with business start ups, international expansion, high street retailers moving into catalogues, and have helped numerous clients make sense of the current blurring of the lines between high street retail and home shopping with the explosive growth of on-line retailing.
