Rosemary Stockdale
Rosemary is Managing Director and a co-founder of Sterling. She founded the business after a career in Buying and Marketing where she held the roles of Merchandise & Marketing Director at Kaleidoscope, Marketing Director at Denby Tableware and Buyer at Heals.
Rosemary has an intuitive feel for product and creative linked to a strong belief in the value of data and the benefits of rigorous analysis. She has worked with an almost endless list of household names in her time at Sterling and has an unrivalled knowledge of the Home Shopping industry - and the factors that go into making a business grow profitably, off and on line.
Our clients value the insights that Rosemary provides into the direction their businesses should take, as well as her focus on using data to clarify performance and deliver the maximum ROI.
Rosemary also applies the same rigor in ensuring that work carried out by Sterling meets her own high standards. Clients have come to rely on the fact that nothing escapes her internal quality audit.
Will Lewis
Will has spent many years in senior positions in both the consumer and business to business sectors. Most recently he was Managing Director of Blooming Marvellous, the leading maternitywear retailer, which was sold to a VC backed MBI in 2007. Previously he was Managing Director of Adler Manufacturing and Operations Director with Lands’ End.
Will brings rounded commercial experience to the Sterling team and specialises in advising our clients on the broader aspects of business strategy – particularly focussing on profitability improvement, brand development and international expansion.
It is sometimes easy to lose sight of the broader picture when focussing on the detail. Will’s grasp of the key drivers of profitability and his insight into business process help our clients to define achievable objectives and to go on to meet them.
Jeremy Newitt
Jeremy specialises in delivering business and marketing insights from our client’s customer data, enabling them to understand their customer’s behaviour and to improve customer profitability.
Since joining Sterling in 2004, after completing his MBA, he has developed Sterling’s “in house” data management and analysis capabilities which provide clients with tailored reporting and analysis covering customer and merchandise data.
Jeremy’s experience in managing and analysing the data associated with complex multichannel marketing campaigns, using this to create sophisticated planning models, enables Sterling to add real value to its client’s businesses.
Jane Todd
Jane manages day to day client relationships, co-ordinating, planning and implementing integrated direct mail campaigns both on and offline.
Jane’s blue chip FMCG project management experience together with a degree in Marketing and Management make her the perfect choice for taking care of the “nuts and bolts” of our client’s marketing campaigns.
The best strategy in the world is only as good as its implementation. Our client’s have come to rely on Jane’s deep understanding of the practicalities of running on and offline campaigns, her eye for detail and her skills in managing a diverse supplier base.
Jenia Crow
Jenia joined Sterling Marketing in December 2001. Working with clients from a variety of sectors, Jenia’s speciality is project management. From creating a strategy to execution to reporting results using in-house systems and know how.
Jenia has a strong IT background with a degree in Computer Sciences. As a result she focuses particularly on those clients with more complex marketing requirements, data and systems issues – helping them to define and manage their data and IT processes.
Jenia’s strengths in data handling are put to good use by our clients in the interpretation of results and the development of ongoing business plans.
